You could spend the rest of your life playing billions of free Sudoku online without a repeat. I am always on the lookout for the best free Sudoku puzzle sites and value a complete range of difficulty, easy to use interfaces as well as fun Sudoku variants.
Web Sudoku: Offers a simple, straight forward Sudoku experience. It is a little light on presentation, but makes up for it with great Sudoku features by offering daily printable classic Sudoku puzzles as well as some intriguing variants. The online puzzles can be played in your browser or printed, what every you prefer.
Difficulty ranges from easy, medium, hard and evil (which is really true to it's name). The online version has several nice options like a timer and personal record keeper. In additon, Web Sudoku has some other cool products. You can buy a deluxe software version that does not need the internet. You can have little puzzle books printed in a made-to-order fashion and they have two nice books you can pick up from Amazon. Web Sudoku Classic Sudoku and a variantion version called Web Sudoku Squiggly Sudoku. All in all a great site every fan needs to check out.
Daily SuDoKu: Speaking of Squiggly Sudoku, this site features daily classic, monster, kids and squiggly variants. Classic and squiggly are playable online, the monster and kids versions are in printable format only. Also on the site is a cool draw/play page which lets you input puzzles to check validity and load past games found in the archives. It also has some nice tools when playing such as save/load game and an ascii version (grid is in text only format for posting in forums). Overall an excellent site.
LIFE: Great looking board, 4 difficulties and slick flash animations make this one of my favorite sites. Life.com features hand picked symmetrical games by puzzle master Michael Mepham.
Sudoku Slam: Clean interface with 5 difficulties. Simple sudoku board, but this sudoku game as some cool options. You can have the game highlight available moves and you can ask for two different types of hints. The sumo mode will show all available candidates for each empty box.
Samurai-Sudoku: After playing a couple of thousand classic games, you need to mix thing up a little. Check out Samurai Sudoku. It is a fun variation, but I find it much easier to complete when printed out compared to the screen version. The game consists of 5 combined grids into one. These are hand made, which is very impressive.
Sudoku Daily: It has a nice in-game interface and some good background information on the history of the game (it is not nearly as old as one might think). Advanced players may need more of a challenge.
Miniclip: Miniclip has a fun flash based free daily game. Play easy, medium or hard. Features a fresh interface, check it out.
